NICOLAS HIERONIMUS, L’ORÉAL CEO, WELCOMED INTO FRAGRANCE FOUNDATION HALL OF FAME

The Fragrance Foundation honored Nicolas Hieronimus at its annual industry awards ceremony in New York. The award was presented by actress Cate Blanchett.

L’Oréal announced in June 2023 that its Chief Executive Officer, Nicolas Hieronimus, has been awarded the Fragrance Foundation’s Hall of Fame, distinguishing a remarkable career during which he has contributed at L’Oréal to the rise of luxury fragrance and where he has widely developed access to luxury perfumes worldwide.

Groupe leader recognized for visionary leadership and outstanding contributions to global fragrance industry

The L’Oréal CEO was honored for his ten years of leadership in propelling L’Oréal to world leadership in luxury fragrances. As head of the Selective Divisions, including L’Oréal Luxe, Nicolas Hieronimus led the signing of key licensing agreements, notably with Armani, Valentino and Prada, and expanded the group’s portfolio to 13 fragrance brands with many iconic fragrances, such as Lancôme’s La Vie est Belle, YSL Beauté’s Libre and Black Opium and Giorgio Armani’s Sì. More recently, he orchestrated the acquisition of Aēsop, the Australian natural cosmetics brand, bringing this handcrafted luxury to the global market.
