We discovered Dentakay and spoke with the founders about their visions and expertise. The Dentakay group is expanding internationally with an international clientele and practices and offices in several countries. I invite you to discover our experience, with the Dentakay team , detailed by Alexandre Joulia. Given the plurality of Dentakay expertise and the unforgettable experience with the team, I will be pleased to share with you again my approach and my discussions with the different departments. I was able to discover the experts, the dental surgeons, the artists who design and create custom teeth, the on-site laboratories, the best materials and equipment grouped together, thus creating total independence and a tailor-made service: Dental excellence signed Dentakay . For me, aesthetics are not a necessity. I operate on the simple principle that “LESS IS MORE.” In a world of perfection, I seek simplicity and elegance in everything I create and in all my choices. 

If I think about the meeting with the Dentakay teams , I would rather speak of humanity, of a discovery of a culture, of an innate vision, of a positivism which reminds me of my own, of a necessary confidence and of course of a tailor-made diagnosis. 

When we talk about teeth, I mainly think about the impact on one’s health and well-being as well as one’s confidence, and I come back to the notion of aesthetics. You might think that this notion is certainly important to me. However, the way others look at you no longer matters to me. On the other hand, well-being is important because it affects how you feel good about yourself and in shape every day to carry out important actions and have a sincere smile. Those who have encountered health problems will understand me because the most important thing in life is health.

This is Dentakay ‘s strength : understanding and making others understand, without ever forcing, while adapting to each person. 

Why are you talking about this? Simply because I spoke with the team, I didn’t do much but I had a sincere and realistic diagnosis to have good health for 10 to 20 years. I have fairly healthy teeth but sometimes irregularity can cause certain problems in the long term. Whether I accept it or not, it’s a fact. It’s up to me to decide if I want to resolve it.  The opinion I share today is only on the diagnosis and small treatments ( scaling, polishing teeth, care on a tooth ) but Dentakay is for me excellence in dental care and well beyond.

Hence this notion of aesthetics that returns, not to please or please oneself, but for homogeneity and especially long-term stability. So, this aesthetics becomes useful and at that moment I accept it. Do you know that irregular teeth have consequences: muscular tension, tension in the jaw and neck, migraines … and can facilitate the appearance of cavities. This simple observation must be taken into consideration.

Certainly, I don’t have any major problems. However, it helps to understand some problems that can become more important in the long run . I have understood the need to take care of oneself. Sometimes, we are constantly running and we forget ourselves.

As a model for years, I was always linked to this notion of aesthetics but I knew how to impose a certain detachment and work with people who had this vision. 

Today, I seek to value above all expertise, well-being, innovation … And, Dentakay has a perfect mastery in the dental field, with an innovative vision of medical tourism. Dentakay has received several awards. For 3 days we will be accommodated in high-end hotels between Istanbul and Antalya, 2 of the different locations where the luxurious Dentakay
clinics are located.

A journey that will combine visits to three clinics with the tourist discoveries of a modern and traditional country – 
Turkey , Istanbul , between Europe and Asia, between the past and the future, separated by the Bosphorus Strait … An invitation to dream. Then a stopover in Antalya, a famous seaside city for its tourism and its ancient arenas.

After a restful night at the Mövenpick Istanbul Marmara Sea Hotel  , we were accompanied by Meryem who took us to the first clinic in Istanbul, mainly reserved for French patients.

We had the pleasure of talking with the founders of Dentakay – Being a couple in entrepreneurship is a strength, Onur and Gülay Akay each have their specificities but are totally complementary, in the expansion of the company, the precise recruitment with profiles of gifted, expert dental surgeon doctors, with more than 5 years of experience and a great artistic sense. I voluntarily call them “ Dent-Artist ”. We followed the dental check-up like the other patients with 3D radio scan, smile photographs, examinations with 4 doctors including Dr. Gülay Akay , among the 60 dental specialists.

We observed extremely detailed and precise analyses of our two cases, with advice, solutions, care, etc. And a constant concern for anticipation to block future oral and dental problems; initially orthodontics, bruxism, then aesthetics.
